PAK restores hope to Government Bilingual High School Talla
In just fifteen days, the Port Authority of Kribi turned a promise of solidarity into concrete classrooms following severe weather damage.
On May 22, 2026, the Port Authority of Kribi officially handed over new classrooms to the Government Bilingual High School Talla. A meaningful initiative driven by the personal commitment of the General Manager, Patrice Melom, in support of education, youth and human development.
May 22, 2026, will remain a memorable date, now reflected in the brand-new classrooms made available to the Government Bilingual High School Talla through the intervention of the Port Authority of Kribi (PAK).
Described by the General Manager of PAK, Patrice Melom, as “The Ceremony of the Heart,” the handover took place in an atmosphere filled with emotion, gratitude and renewed hope.
Only a few weeks earlier, heavy rains that struck the city of Kribi had severely damaged parts of the school infrastructure, leaving students, teachers and parents deeply concerned.
Moved by the situation during his visit to the school as part of Bilingualism Week, the General Manager of PAK immediately committed to taking swift, effective and compassionate action.
Fifteen days later, that promise became reality.
In the presence of administrative authorities, education officials, students and technical teams involved in the project, the Principal of Government Bilingual High School Talla expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Port Authority of Kribi and its General Manager.
At the center of the ceremony was a simple yet powerful message addressed to the youth:
“When there is determination, anything is possible.”
Through this solidarity-driven initiative, the Port Authority of Kribi once again demonstrates that beyond its economic and port mission, it remains deeply committed to human development, education and the future of local communities.
