Kribi Signs Strategic Agreement to Develop an Integrated Industrial Zone
A $900 million project to position PAK as a regional logistics and industrial hub
The Port Authoriity of Kribi (PAK) took a major step forward by signing a Memorandum of Understanding with partners Bolloré Africa Logistics, China Harbour Engineering Co (CHEC), International Container Terminal Services, Inc. (ICTSI), and the Tanger Med Special Agency (TMSA).
📍 1,500-hectare integrated industrial zone underway
Valued at approximately $900 million, the initiative aims to develop a 1,500-hectare area within the Kribi port zone to accommodate key industrial and logistics activities, including:

Land preparation and platform leveling,

Construction of utilities and infrastructure (water, electricity, telecom, public lighting, sanitation, roads…),

Development of high-standard commercial facilities (business center, warehouses…).

This public-private partnership will generate over 50,000 direct jobs, confirming Kribi’s ambition to become one of Africa’s leading logistics and industrial centers.
With this large-scale allocation, PAK ranks among the most expansive ports in Africa and globally, in line with the strategic vision of the Cameroonian Government.
