PAK Renews Its Support to OFTA
A Citizen Partnership Growing Stronger Each Year
The Port Authority of Kribi (PAK) has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting local sports by granting 10 million CFA francs and 60 pairs of football boots to OFTA Football Club. This renewed partnership, now in its third year, strengthens the club’s preparations for the new season and illustrates PAK’s dedication to community development.
The Director General of PAK, Patrice Melom, officially presented the contribution during a modest yet significant ceremony at PAK headquarters. Alongside Sillas Bouele, President of OFTA, both leaders showcased the team’s official jersey for the season, proudly carrying the PAK logo.
A Win-Win Partnership
“This is a win-win partnership that will continue to grow over time. We are a socially responsible company, and our mission also includes supporting initiatives that bring us closer to local communities. This partnership is a perfect example of that commitment,” declared Patrice Melom in front of the press.
On the OFTA side, satisfaction was equally strong. “For the past three years, the Port has stood by us — from the Interpools stage to our promotion into Elite Two. We are very pleased to formalize this major support, which has been consistent and growing,” stated Sillas Bouele, President of the club.
A Partnership Sealed on the Field and in Image
This season, PAK’s support is reflected through both financial and material contributions:
-
A check of 10 million CFA francs;
-
60 pairs of football boots.
In return, the PAK emblem will proudly feature on the front of OFTA’s official jersey. This act symbolizes the shared determination of both parties to build a lasting collaboration.
As Patrice Melom emphasized:
“The Port is a young institution, just as OFTA is a young team. We both need things to be done properly so we can go as far as possible together.”
OFTA, a Club on the Rise
Under the leadership of Sillas Bouele, OFTA continues to make impressive progress. Following the support of the CEO of Finex Voyages Group, the signing of a partnership with an official kit supplier, and the backing of the Kribi City Council, the endorsement of PAK further strengthens the club’s foundations.
As the official league season approaches, OFTA can now prepare with greater peace of mind, with one clear ambition: to earn promotion to the first division.
