Firefighters Deployed at the Port of Kribi
PAK and the Ministry of Defence sign an agreement to establish a fire and rescue unit in Mboro
On Tuesday, April 10, 2018, under the chairmanship of Mr. Patrice Melom, General Manager of the Port Authority of Kribi (PAK), a protocol agreement was signed between the PAK and the Ministry of Defence (MINDEF). The agreement provides for the deployment of an 18-member fire and rescue unit from the National Fire Brigade to the Mboro port zone. Their mission includes fire protection, ensuring the proper use and maintenance of equipment, and enforcing safety regulations within the port. This initiative represents a significant step in strengthening safety and security at the Port of Kribi, in line with international standards and best practices.
