On Saturday, February 6, 2021, the Port Authority of Kribi (PAK) actively participated in World Cleanup Day, in collaboration with Hysacam and Clean Cameroon.
This symbolic but impactful event brought together a large community of port actors, volunteers, and PAK staff members.
Equipped with brooms, gloves, bags, and shovels, participants cleaned up public spaces, port access roads, and surrounding areas, collecting waste, plastic, and debris. The goal was to raise awareness about cleanliness and sustainable waste management, while taking concrete action to protect the environment.
Through this initiative, the Port Authority of Kribi reaffirms its commitment to social responsibility and to preserving its immediate ecosystem. A warm thank you to everyone who answered the call and took part in this civic initiative!

For the first time at the Africa CEO Forum, the Port Authority of Kribi is participating alongside Kribi Port Industrial Zone. Their joint presence reflects the emergence of an integrated ecosystem where port infrastructure, industrial development, and productive transformation converge to support Africa’s economic sovereignty.
